The coronavirus seems to have spared most kids from illness, but its effect on their emotional and mental health is deepening according to children’s emotional wellbeing expert Kari Sutton.

“Experts at the University of Bristol found that during the Covid crisis, children as old as eight had shown the sort of difficult behaviour expected of two-year-olds,” Sutton said.

“This delay in emotional development, if not addressed, may far outlive the pandemic, and have long-term consequences for this generation of children.”
