Australian crickets boycott South Africa Tour

In an unprecedented development, Australia A cricketers will not travel to South Africa this month after they boycotted the planned tour when negotiations with Cricket Australia failed to make any progress.

The Australian Cricketer’s Association said it was “with great frustration” that the decision was made, but it was done “in support of the 200 males and female players who are now unemployed”.

Sports law and industrial relations expert Braham Dabscheck at Melbourne University spoke to the show about the decision.
