Spring Creek

Over the last 200 years we have drastically altered the Australian landscape, clearing huge swaths of land for agriculture; rivers and creeks have filled with sand, forcing animals to move away to find food and somewhere to live.

There has been much work done to repair the damage to our rivers and creeks, but this has only resulted in failure. Now Dr Jill Lancaster has come up with a low-tech, simple solution: garden stakes. And environmental scientists around the world are taking notice. Read more in Pursuit.
