Newly appointed Victorian emergency services minister Jane Garrett joined the program to talk about the latest from bushfires affecting the state, and the importance of being vigilant around water over the summer period to avoid drowning.

“Victorians have a great tradition of enjoying the water, but this comes with risks,” she said.

“Every drowning is one too many. For parents, constant supervision of young children is critical.”
