Dealing with the emotions of COVID

Nikki Langman, author of ‘How To Be A Badass’ joined the program to discuss how people can respond to the emotions of COVID. She says it’s been a rapid shift from complacency to the anxiety of a lockdown. “Just a few days ago, Melburnians were attending weddings, gatherings and sporting events, hugging, and shaking hands with a renewed sense of freedom, after months of no local transmissions,” Langman said. “Complacency crept in and sanitising hands, wearing masks, and scanning QR codes went by the wayside.” “But coronavirus had other plans.” “In about 48 hours, we swung from complacent to anxious, as the virus roared back into our lives.”
